Villa Striano - Testimonials"What a truly superb stay at Villa Striano. Set away from it all nestled in secluded woodland/forest area a few kilometres from the sweet little village of Talla. The villa is very well appointed and luxurious. The views from the infinity pool area terrific. The photographs on the website do not really do justice to the breathtaking views. We hosted 3 parties during the week we were there for up to 30 people at a sit down meal. It was a really ideal and a perfect location. All went very well indeed and everyone has very good memories of the place. Sergio Porcellotti was just great. So VERY helpful and with such attention to detail. Sergio has assisted in the restoration of the Villa some years back now and has been so very caring together with Alfonso. We were also blessed with great weather. " "A dream of a house, in perfect seclusion. Beautiful interiors with antique furnishings, a fantastically equipped kitchen (but we recommend engaging the chef's services at least once, for a sumptuous Tuscan banquet), spacious and beautifully presented dining and living rooms, and gorgeous bedrooms looking out on the surrounding landscape. Outside, the fountain, the frescos, the sauna and the infinity pool, with breathtaking views, offer complete and utter relaxation. We spent a blissful summer holiday at Striano, but with the Aga, the real fires and the stunning location, it would be amazing in winter too. " "A week in the Tuscan hills in pure luxury is just fantastic! The house is amazing - massive rooms - loads of space and finished to perfection. The bedrooms have massive comfy beds and great bathrooms - ours even had a massive claw foot bath. Overall Striano has it all. A great place to enjoy with family or friends - without being on top of each other. " "Well we arrived to be met at the airport by a charming Italian driving a very stylish 4 wheel drive. The views were brearthtaking all the way. Then we arrive in the most tranquil, delightful wooded location. There standing on its own was peaceful paradise. Couldn't wait to get out of the car, shake all the stress away, and explore this amazing villa. It was so spacious, enough room inside to lose oneself and as for the splendid views, wow!!" "The location is peaceful and very beautiful. You can hear the rivers in the valley below and the woodpeckers in the trees, the cicadas at night. The house combines complete luxury with no expense spared in attention to comfort and detail. You are surrounded by natural beauty outside and beauty inside with the range of paintings and antiques. The house is huge combining complete luxury with true Tuscan style. For the cooks amongst us the kitchen fit out is superb with complete designer ranges and the Aga in the dining room is great for both heating the house and great cooking. " |
